The pupils in 4th, 5th and 6th class have been working extremely hard on the Junior Achievement program under the guidance of Ms Carmel Hickey ( AIB Bank Manager, Millstreet Branch) , for the last 12 weeks. They have been learning all about creating their own business and how to turn their ideas into a viable business. They got to experience the steps involved in launching a business and identified their own entrepreneurial skills and characteristics, work in teams on ideas, innovation and market research to develop a business start-up. Today, they got the opportunity to pitch and present their businesses to "potential investors"/parents, family and classmates.
The pupils had a ball and thoroughly enjoyed the experience from start to finish.
